Spring Break

Hit the beach - One of the most common and economical uses of a spring break is getting in the first beach trip of the year. Don't have a beach near you? The rest of the country might still be under a foot of snow, but its bright and sunny here!

Spontaneous Road Trip - Take off on an "unplanned" road trip. Make the decision to not decide where you're going until you get there! Block out a day or two... pack the bare essentials and jump in the car and drive! Come across something that you've always wanted to stop at? Go for it! Because you've got nowhere else to be! The excitement of not knowing is half the adventure! For those controlling types... trust us... it will be ok... you'll survive!

Do Something Differently - Break the rut! If you enjoy walking... go on a hike that you've never done. Like movies? Drive to a new theater you've never been to and have dinner at a new restaurant nearby. Schedule lunch with a friend you haven't seen in ages. Play golf at a new course. Instead of sitting home playing video games, visit an arcade. Go test drive new cars just for the fun of it! Careful though, that last one could become expensive...

BBQ - No plans for spring break? Make some! Plan a BBQ at the park and invite your friends, family & co-workers. Having everyone pitch in and bring food makes planning a lot easier and less expensive. Have someone bring a ball and you're bound to have a mean game of touch football or co-ed hoops break out!

Start a March Madness Bracket! - You'll find watching and following the NCAA basketball tournament a lot more exciting when competition is involved... Get friends, family and co-workers in on it and see who can pick the most winners. There are a lot of free brackets online to help organize your competition.

Stay at a Hotel - No need to go far... Sometimes it just takes getting out of the house to fully relax. Spend a few hours looking at hotels online and pick the one that has the best pool. Or you can jump in a Prime Time Shuttle and let us take you to the airport, and you can stay somewhere completely new!

Plan Your Summer - No exciting plans for spring break? Well, make sure it doesn't happen again this summer! Start planning that great summer vacation that you never got around to organizing. Get Caught Up - As un-exciting as it sounds, this can be a great time to get caught up on all the things you've been procrastinating about... Be A Tourist - Most people rarely take advantage of the things that draw in outsiders to their area. Try looking up what people do in your area when they're visiting on vacation. Try visiting the landmarks, museums and amusement parks near you. If you can't find anything, there's always plenty to do here with us in Los Angeles! Volunteer - It's always good to give back. What could be a better use of your free time than spending it improving the life of others? There are a lot of opportunities to help at local shelters, churches and community centers. Get the whole family involved. You'll finish your break knowing you accomplished a good thing, and, who knows, you might have a great time doing it.
