Rattan Joea, CEO of Prime Time Shuttle, today announced the start of a fleet-wide adoption of the Apple iPAD™ for owner-operator driver communication, vehicle routing, navigation, and reservation booking on Prime Time Shuttle's fleet of over 150 vehicles. This launch puts every Prime Time Shuttle van equipped with the iPAD™ on the cutting edge of technology for transporting passengers in Southern California. The first, most critical role that the iPAD™ fills for Prime Time Shuttle's owner operator drivers is that of a communication device which keeps the fleet in touch with dispatch for instant notification of new reservations and passengers arriving at any of Southern California's major airports. Fleet-wide notifications, reservation assignments and confirmations are easy to access and update due the custom HWeb Virtual Mobile Data Terminal (VMDT) software that was custom designed for this purpose.

Additionally, the iPAD™ with its large 9.7 inch display with IPS technology was deemed the best mapping and navigation tool for owner operator drivers. To help with route planning around congested freeways and frequently changing traffic conditions, the new devices provide up-to-the-minute traffic status and road conditions. "When we looked at other solutions, in terms of mapping and providing an easily viewable screen, the iPAD™ gave us a hardware platform for maps and navigation that was head and shoulders above everything else on the market.
