LAX Shuttle services: Exploring its Evolution for a better future

In the future, as global priorities change and new technologies become available, travel conditions and the way people move throughout the world will also undergo a significant change. Airports thus will also be undergoing a major transformation.

Both travelers on business and those on vacation frequently visit Los Angeles. You need dependable transportation to and from the airport if you’re a guest arriving at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport ) or a local departing the city.

LAX offers 692 daily flights to 85 domestic destinations and 928 weekly nonstop flights to 67 cities in 34 countries on 59 passenger air carriers.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the second busiest airport in the United States and the fifth busiest airport in the world.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), although being one of the busiest airports in the world, is difficult to reach. Except walking the only other option available is using a vehicle, whether it be an Uber, shuttle bus, the LAX FlyAway Bus, or your vehicle.

When travelling back and forth from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), there are three different shuttle options available:

  • Private shuttle
It is the quickest and most comfortable alternative in Los Angeles.

  • Airport shuttle bus
It is the least expensive option available.

  • Shared shuttle van
It is the most time-consuming option.

If you’ve been here before, you are aware of how time-consuming and frustrating it can be, particularly with the airport’s congested roads. That said, even if you’re fortunate and avoid LA’s legendary traffic, you’ll almost certainly encounter congestion in the Sepulveda Tunnel.

You are forced to spend more than 30 minutes waiting at the crowded curbside to leave the airport because your driver is still trying to reach you while being snarled up in traffic on Century Boulevard.

Fortunately, you will be able to travel happier in a few years as a result of the Los Angeles City Council’s recent approval of a $4.9 billion proposal to construct and run an elevated People mover rail system at the airport.

The City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles World Airports are now offering travelers dependable, practical transportation to and from the LAX terminals.

In addition to building the people mover train, LAX is also renovating all of its outdated terminals and building a Multi-modal transit station. Los Angeles International Airport is investing in measures to lessen traffic and improve the flying experience due to the 87.5 million passengers it served last year.

The only privately owned airport terminal in the nation is located at LAX. You can bypass the security queues, the crowds, and the interminable walking with LAX Private Suites for a $4,500 annual charge and $2,700 for every domestic trip.

Succeeding in Today’s Challenges at LAX and Looking Forward to a Better Tomorrow

LAX is undergoing a complete transformation. An estimated $14 billion project which is named LAMP (Landside Access Modernization Programme) is going to be invested into LAX. Out of this around $2 billion is going to be invested within the airport.

By 2023, the entire LAMP project will lead to the creation of thousands of jobs and serve as the economic engine of Los Angeles. This LAMP project will to a great extent improve the LAX traffic problem, which is becoming worse all the time.

The successful estimated completion of LAMP in 2023, will bring LAX into the group of the top airports in the US and abroad.

Following the changes brought about within the LAX, LAMP will also include the construction of 4 major pieces outside LAX in addition to the APM (Automatic People Mover).

These are:

  1. AMC (Airport Metro Connector)
  2. conRAC (Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility)
  3. ITF West (Intermodal Transportation Facility – West)
  4. ITF East (Intermodal Transportation Facility – East)

APM (Automatic People Mover)

The APM functions as the key hub of the overall strategy because passengers arriving at conRAC, ITF-West, or ITF-East have no way of getting to the terminals.  We are concerned that until the APM is over, extra shuttles from ITF-West will add to the already dense traffic at LAX.Once completed, the APM will connect all of the aforementioned elements with the terminals via three stations distributed around the main terminal area.

AMC  (Airport Metro Connector)

The Crenshaw LAX line and the updated LAX Metro Green line will both be located inside the AMC. The Green Line follows the 105’s east and west course to Norwalk in the east before curving south and currently terminating at Redondo Beach. To get to the AMC, passengers going from Downtown LA can take the Silver Line to the Harbour Motorway Metro stop and then change to the Green Line.

You can then easily board the Automatic People Mover(APM) at the AMC and ride easily to your terminal.

conRAC (Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility)

The second most recent addition will be a 5.3 million square foot, $2 billion vehicle rental facility conRAC, that will be situated at the intersection of Century Boulevard and Aviation Boulevard. Here, all of the automobile rental companies will have offices, and travelers can access the conRAC using the APM.

ITF West (Intermodal Transportation Facility – West)

It will allow the parking of almost 4500 more vehicles after its completion, and can also be considered as the preferred location to be picked up and dropped off for the travelers.

ITF East (Intermodal Transportation Facility – East)

The ITF-East will be situated directly behind the conRAC on a 21-acre site at the northeast corner of Aviation Boulevard and 98th Street and used primarily by private and commercial vehicles traveling to the airport, even though the conRAC will be the final stop of the APM (Automated People Mover) on the east. It will be 3.1 million square feet in size, have 5 floors, and 8,300 parking places.

ITF East will also act as the Metro Crenshaw and Green Lines’ connecting station, which will be a big plus for LA’s fans of public transportation.

LAMP Completion – Arrival of better conditions at LAX

Until the construction of all four major pieces outside LAX in 2023, the traffic situation and, as a result, the transportation situation at LAX will be challenging for passengers and transportation companies seeking to get the passengers to their flights on time and with as little hassle and delay as possible.

Whatever the conclusion of the LAMP project, it should be understood that the situation at LAX cannot get any worse than it is right now!

Preventive measures to stay safe from coronavirus

As coronavirus spreads further, we need to make new measures to guarantee the welfare of you, your staff, and our mutual guests. We will also inform our guests as they call for more security when they are traveling. If this has not been done, please take the following measures:

  • Make hand sanitizer available to your guests
  • Disinfect the rear of your vehicle with sanitary wipes or a spray after each ride
  • Don’t provide guests with newspapers, journals, or other documents
  • Avoid handshakes. Drivers can instead choose a subtle bow or head nod

Particularly if you are in a heavily affected area, consider masks and gloves for drivers and masks for guests. In addition, please seek medical attention, follow the advice of the local authorities, and do not take rides if you have symptoms. In the unfortunate case that you develop the symptoms of the virus, you can give back rides without any repercussions. Please select the category “Health Reasons” if applicable.

While your well-being and our guests are the most important reason for these measures, we also believe that they will help to reduce the economic impact that the virus will have on all of us. If you have any issues with adopting these measures, please let us know so we can provide assistance and understand the challenges that you encounter.

Thank you for your constant help and collaboration with us in these difficult circumstances. We think about you and your loved ones, and we wish you all well.

Beat Gas Price Hike! Take our Rides to LAX

With gas price hike on the rise, Prime Time Shuttle offers an alternative to more expensive methods of getting to LAX from metropolitan Los Angeles communities. The company charges customers a flat rate while other companies, as well as airlines, are adding gas fees on top of already escalated rates.

With the largest service area of any LAX Airport Shuttle, Prime Time Shuttle offers a cheaper alternative for getting a ride to the airport from many Los Angeles area communities to avoidgas price hike. The company provides a flat rate throughout its entire service area to help customers combat rising gas prices. As gas prices increase, airlines and many companies are adding gas fees, and the city of Los Angeles is even raising taxi passenger surcharges on top of the already high costs of getting to the airport.

The company has been in business for 25 years and has sold thousands of seats. The volume of passengers enables Prime Time Shuttle to keep its airport shuttle prices low, and while gas prices increase, the company’s service gains more value as an efficient means of transportation. Excellent customer service is guaranteed as well. The company operates with only fully licensed and insured shuttle van companies with over 25 years of experience.

Travel is becoming increasingly expensive as gas prices go up. We are doing our part to offset these costs by offering a low price alternative to other means of transportation that are exorbitantly expensive. While gas prices rise across the board, our service is becoming much more valuable to travelers.

For anyone traveling to the airport, or taking our economy ride from LAX, the company also has a full-service website and app where customers are able to book trips directly online. Riders can book pickups from home, the office, or their hotel to LAX or back from the airport. It’s more convenient and cheaper than cab service or driving your own vehicle; especially given the increased traffic congestion in Los Angeles and around LAX.

Our rides cover a large area, and plans for expansion are underway. Finding a shuttle at the airport is simple, and the process is explained in detailed confirmation emails. While there are multiple pickups for each trip, customers avoid high gas prices that would make the alternatives more expensive. For more information, visit www.primetimeshuttle.com to learn more or book a pickup for a shuttle to LAX or your return trip home.

Things to Remember For Shared Ride Service

Things to Remember For Shared Ride Service

Shared Ride Service is the most economical way to travel to and from your designation. It has a lot of advantages such as cost, accommodates a large number of baggage and items. That is why the Prime Time Shuttle pioneered the Shared Ride transportation service in the greater Los Angeles area starting back in 1984. There is Shared Ride and then there is a good Shared Ride Service. It’s easy to say that you provide rideshare service, but without the state-of-the-art rideshare software, which Prime Time has developed over the years, rideshare can become a nightmare experience. There are a lot of pros in doing rideshare but safety has been a central theme surrounding rideshare services in recent months. There have been several cases in the news involving violent altercations between drivers and passengers. Just like when hiring a traditional taxi driver, it’s a good idea to follow safety tips before hiring a rideshare service. Here are some tips for security and smooth ride:

1. Schedule Your Ride Ahead of Time

Whether you’re headed out of town, want to be on time for a dinner reservation or early for a business meeting, you can have extra assurance knowing your ride will be available when you need it.

2. Confirm the driver and car

Before accepting a ride, confirm the driver is the person the service notified you were coming. When you’re matched with a Prime Time Shuttle driver, you’ll see a picture of the driver, her or his rating, the car’s license plate number, and the driver’s name. Double-check their license plate and information. The license plate information is the best way to go.

3. Check the driver’s rating

PTS have platforms to rate and check a driver’s rating. PTS drivers can also rate passengers, just as passengers rate the drivers, which encourages positive interaction.

4. Don’t give drivers cash

Prime Time Shuttle charge your credit card for your ride. Part of the appeal of these services is the convenience, which typically means there’s no reason for a driver to ask you for cash.  If they do, say no and strongly consider declining the ride or getting out of the car early. Also, be sure to report the driver to us, but this has never happened in our history yet.

5. Don’t drink too much

Many of the violent cases involved a rider who had drank too much alcohol. Although it’s a good idea to call for a ride if you’ve been drinking, having too much to drink can lead to a dangerous situation. It is not just a precautionary step while riding the car but as well as during the waiting time that is why we pick you up as fast as we can.

6. Ride in the back

Our drivers undergo a criminal background check and must pass a background check. However, there’s always a chance that you could ride with a driver who displays inappropriate behavior. We suggest that passengers always ride in the back of the car as a precaution unless you have too many passengers to fit in the back. Another good practice: Exit on the curbside, not the traffic side, of the car. If you use some common sense and keep these tips in mind, the ridesharing arrangement can be a good option for both drivers and passengers. Happy riding!

3. Corriganville Movie Ranch

Third, is a nod to the past particularly in the 50s to the 60s. 5 Christmas Movies for Kids

5 Christmas Movies to Watch with Your Kids

In long hours of travel to your chosen holiday destinations, it helps if you think of ways to entertain your kids, so they won’t throw tantrums halfway into your journey. A failsafe way you can do is to let them watch Christmas movies. Prime Time Shuttle compiled five Christmas Movies your children could watch. Did your favorite movie made it to the list? Read on to find out.

Prime Time Shuttles Top 5 Christmas Movies

1.The Santa Clause

Tim Allen makes the perfect Santa, or at least that’s what happened when he became one. A single dad trying to hold on to his son’s innocence for a little while, the movie appeals to your emotion, not just in believing that Santa is real, but also to remember that your parents wanted you to enjoy the Holidays as much as they did when they were young. Were you guilty of playing Santa to your kids, in the guise of delivering their gifts?

2. The Nightmare before Christmas

While we’re not entirely sure whether this fits as a Halloween or a Christmas movie, you can learn to appreciate Tim Burton’s aesthetic as the journey of Pumpkin King Jack Skellington in discovering Christmas unfolds. What’s a plus in this movie is that not only children who will enjoy, your teens might get interested, too! How’s that for a family bonding?

3. The Polar Express

As a kid, have you ever wondered, what’s it like in the North Pole? Is Santa busy throughout the year checking who’s naughty or nice? In this animated film by Tom Hanks, a young boy rides a magical train. Let your kids discover the true meaning of Christmas in this lovely story.

4. Frozen

While this Disney movie did not mention even a wisp of Christmas, it has been a go-to movie for kids these days. Set in a winter wonderland called Arendelle; the heartwarming movie lets its audience realize that in times of help, the love of family will always be there, no matter the circumstances.

5. Home Alone

Now this may seem unfamiliar to kids these days, but admit it, Home Alone has been a part of your childhood Christmas movie to watch! Do you still recall the McCallisters, a typical family, which bonds at Christmas by jetting off to places in time for holidays? However, on the day of their flight, the whole family overslept, and thus, they scrambled to get ready. They arrive in the airport just in time, thanks to their trusty airport shuttle. In the chaos, little did they know, they left their son Kevin behind! Now if you were a little boy left behind by your parents, would you go on an adventure as Kevin did? I bet your 10-year old self would agree, but as a parent, I think you’d have doubts. Bond and explain the context of the movie, as you watch it together this time.

Enjoy Christmas movies When You Book Prime Time Shuttle

Just like any activity, it pays to guide your children as they watch these Christmas movies. Not only will you bond over the lessons of each movie, you get to explain concepts they may not understand. You could only make it possible, if you’re attention is not on the road. To not compromise safety and family bonding, book Prime Time Shuttle as your chosen shuttle service ride! Let us make your journey memorable, minus the hassle of driving. Book a ride, today!

What’s one activity you indulge with the family during the holidays? If you haven‘t figured yet, Prime Time Shuttle shares tips on how you could celebrate this season, family-friendly style. Hop on in one of our rides; let’s begin our journey.

Family-friendly Christmas Events to Indulge When You Book a Ride in California

Check out the following events you could indulge. Don’t worry. There’s something for everybody.

1. Hollywood Christmas Parade

Target: Whole Family

A traditional American event always starts with a welcoming parade. Join one nearest your schedule, so you can also jumpstart the holiday feels within the family. Try something new this year, instead! Assign a Christmas task for every family member. Who will take out the tree? Is mom in charge of the Christmas design? Will dad cook Christmas dinner?

On Christmas Day, gather around the tree, share gifts, and sing a Christmas carol or two. This way, everybody contributes in making this day memorable.

2. Grinchmas at Universal Studios

Target: Your Teenage Kids

Don’t let your teenage kids think Christmas is only for small children. Capture their holiday spirit when you book a ride with Prime Time Shuttle and head to Universal Studios! Witness Dr. Seuss-inspired set-up in the theme park, as you explore many rides. Beware, though. Look out when the Grinch will appear.

3. A Christmas Carol Production

Target: Kids

It’s time to introduce this favorite classic to your kids. For greater impact, let the story unfold to them, live! This way, kids will enjoy the play, and yet parents (including you!) may enjoy the theatrics of the play. Since it’s another Christmas tradition, expect heavy turnout for each showing. Save yourself from the hassle, book a family-friendly shuttle service instead. You need not worry about parking.

4. Christmas Boat Parades

Target: Parents/Adults

Surprise, adults get a night out, too! You must try the Christmas Boat Parades. If you tell your teenage kids that Christmas isn’t only for the children, then you must believe it yourself, as well. Schedule a night with your partner or with the adults. This way, not only will you have a rare Christmas treat, you may enjoy a calm night with the varied sparkles decorating the boat.

5. Los Angeles Zoo Lights

Target: Whole Family

Cap-off your holidays with another family gathering, but this time, as you witness the lights displayed on Los Angeles Zoo. Most of the animals may be asleep, but plenty of light fixings scatter the area. Capture a family photo with Santa so you could always remember a special moment you shared with the family.

How to Keep Your Car in Good Shape and Save Money

They were bought in the 2000s but they actually look so vintage that they seem to fall apart? Sometimes it’s not just the age but as well as how you take care of your vehicles but we should also check on how we drive. Driving habits have a lot of effect on how your car will look like. It’s no secret that the price of gas is continually rising and the cost of everything is rising up as well! As a responsible driver, you have two things to consider, how you can take care of your car and how to save. There’s a domino effect that if you make them the least of your concern then, you probably have to reconsider. Here are daily driving tips to help you keep your car in good shape and save money maintenance-wise at the same time.

1. Say no to potholes

These, when deep, cannot only damage the tire and the wheel, but the impact can also have adverse effects on the suspension and steering components. The whole car will benefit from avoiding or slowing down for potholes, as these repetitive impacts tend to loosen various items in the car, creating rattles and squeaks.

2. Smoothness is everything!

By going smoothly the various mechanical parts of the car will not take a hit but actually be able to work as intended, and thus last longer… Plus your passengers will enjoy the ride rather than be being tossed around.

3.You need a guide.

By going smoothly the various mechanical parts of the car will not take a hit but actually be able to work as intended, and thus last longer… Plus your passengers will enjoy the ride rather than be being tossed around.

4. Close the windows (and sunroof, if you’ve got one)

Car designers call it aerodynamics and make lots of effort to reduce the ‘drag’ and make the car as sleek as possible. Anything that makes wind noise as your car goes along is actually making your car more expensive to run. You can’t do much about the design of your car, but you can avoid making it worse by not leaving the windows and sunroof open.

5. Stop idling.

If you’re parked and waiting, turn the engine off. Idling can use a quarter to a half-gallon of fuel per hour; restarting your vehicle, by contrast, only takes about 10 seconds worth of fuel

6. Spend smarter.

To save even more when you’re at the pump, sign up for a credit card that offers cash back on gas purchases.

7. Don’t drive in the rush hour.

The best solution is to not travel during the rush hour. You can also save some fuel by trying to understand what the traffic is doing in front of you, and traveling steadily at a slow speed, rather than accelerating and braking. But if needed to travel since we cannot avoid traveling those times, better use ride share or maybe book a ride. You can book your ride in advance so that you don’t have to go through the hassle of driving in the rush hour. Plus it can give you more savings and comfort more than you think.

Missing Luggage

Missing Luggage

Have you ever noticed the first piece of luggage that comes out on the carousel never seems to belong to anybody? Mine always tends to be last around the block, especially when I score a front row seat at the carousels starting line. Waiting for your luggage is a necessary annoyance, but nothing compares to the horror of lost or stolen luggage. Whether your luggage was delayed, sent to a different airport or stolen…it can put a damper on any vacation or business trip. Here are a few tips on how to avoid lost and stolen baggage and how to deal if it happens. Obviously, the best way to avoid luggage issues is to put everything your bringing with you on a carry-on. While some of you can pull this off, most of us are gross over packers who in no way, shape or form, could ever pull off such a feat. However, putting a spare change of clothes in your carry on is a good idea just in case. Make sure you label your suitcase inside and out. Use the tag holder that comes with the suitcase as well as the tag the airline gives you. A piece of masking tape with your name, phone number and address is good enough for the inside. Put an identifying marker on the outside to easily identify your baggage, such as a bright colored ribbon or fluorescent duct tape around the handle. The more noticeable, the better. Make sure the attendant who checks your baggage attaches the correct destination tag to every bag. To reduce the risk of stolen baggage, arrive quickly at the carousel and be waiting for your luggage. Lock your luggage with TSA approved locks. If a thief is looking to steal, a bag with a lock doesn’t look as appealing as one without one. If your luggage never makes an appearance, don’t panic. Often times luggage has just been delayed or put on the wrong flight and 90% of lost baggage is returned within 48 hours. As soon as you realize your bags are not going to arrive, go to the nearest baggage claim window and fill out the form. If you need to buy replacement items right away, keep the receipts as some airlines will compensate you. As I said before, most luggage is returned within 48 hours, so if you need some necessities, buy them sparingly. You don’t need a whole new wardrobe. Now that you’re more prepared for a luggage disaster than a boy scout is prepared to roast a marshmallow, let me tell you why you should choose Prime Time Shuttle to get to or from the airport. That little car your brother has is never going to fit the bag your family of 4 is packing… And parking your mini-van at the airport quickly adds up. Prime Time Shuttle will pick you up from your home and deliver you to the airport safe and sound. The best part? We’re having the best price!

Plane Survival Packing Tips

Plane Survival Packing Tips

Here at Prime Time Shuttle, we know travel and survival. We know travel at its best and at its worst. We witness firsthand the stress that travel throws at our airport ride customers. Some handle it well, while others not so much. As John Steinbeck says “A journey is like marriage. The certain way to be wrong is to think you control it” However, the chore of packing is, in fact, something you can control about travel. Whether it’s for business or pleasure, it takes its toll on even the most organized souls. You have your last minute packers, your “everything must go” packers, make a list and check it twice packers and so on. A couple of tips can ease the stress and make packing easy. First off…..only pack clothes you know you’ll wear. Sure those white skinny jeans you bought when you were ten pounds lighter would look great with your favorite blue top if you can squeeze into them, but let’s be honest…you’re on vacation and the chance of you wearing those bad boys and being comfortable after a couple of days of escape eating is slim. Stick with the clothes you love and feel most comfortable in. Second…check the weather and pack accordingly. If the weather says “high of sixty-five, low of forty, you probably don’t need those four pairs of shorts and vice versa with a temp of ninety-five and three sweatshirts. I know this tip is short, sweet and a little….DUH…but trust me. I’m a doctor. Actually, no I’m not. What doctor do you know that writes a blog about packing? Third….waiting till the last minute is suicide. If you haven’t started packing then you probably haven’t done laundry and it’s almost a guarantee you’ll forget something and that will cause stress. So do yourself a solid and be smart about packing early. Starting a suitcase a week in advance and throwing in things as you think of them is a great way to ease the chore. Remember that if you do end up forgetting something or your trip is extended, there are such things as “clothing stores” and “laundry mats” that can help you move past your ordeal without the need for alcohol. Now that being said, let Prime Time Shuttle remove at least one more stress that comes with travel. We make getting to and from the airport easy peasy lemon squeezy. Plus, we won’t empty your wallet with our best rates. Sound too good to be true? Nope. Give us a try. You won’t be disappointed. Check out our promos here!

In a state like New York taking a taxi is an everyday occurrence and a great way to get around town. However, in California the Taxi industry does not have a great reputation for customer service. Taking a taxi in Southern California can be like taking a crap shoot in Vegas. You don’t know what you are going to get. Is the driver going to be courteous? Is the cab going to be clean? Is the fare going to be fair? Am I going to get to my location timely, or am I going to take a tour of the city while the meter keeps rising? Taking a taxi in Southern California just isn’t worth it. PRIME TIME Shuttle is your smart alternative to a taxi. Our drivers are always professional and courteous providing the best customer service in the industry. Our drivers pride themselves in having immaculate vans, you will find our vans in the same condition as you would expect in a limousine. Unlike a taxi, our drivers will never give you the run around in an attempt to raise the fare. The fare is set when you book and it is usually less than half the cost of a taxi. pexels-photo Our drivers will also take the safest and most efficient route possible. Don’t worry about getting picked up late either, a taxi driver gets his fare no matter what time he gets there. Our company has an unprecedented on time guarantee. We are on time or you don’t pay. When it comes down to it, there is no reason to take a taxi in Southern California when you can take a PRIME TIME Shuttle. Next time you are thinking of taking a taxi, stop and book a ride with PRIME TIME Shuttle. Shared Ride A Shared Van is the most economical way to travel to and from the airport. Pioneer and Leader in the Airport Transportation

Before there were Uber and Lyft, Prime Time Shuttle pioneered the rideshare transportation service in the greater Los Angeles area starting back in 1984. PRIME TIME SHUTTLE as a leader in the newly emerging ride-share industry. It set the standard, as far as innovation and quality as more and more people discovered this new method to get to and from the airport. In those early years of rideshare, most rideshare shuttle companies focused their attention on the transfer of out-of-town visitors to their hotels. Usually in the downtown area. They avoided picking up passengers from their homes because it was more a complicated form of the business. It was a lot harder to assure that every person would get to their flight on time when they were not being picked up on the “reliable hotel route.”

On Time Service

Today, in addition to continuing to set the highest quality standards. PRIME TIME SHUTTLE remains the only shuttle service in Southern California to offer an On-Time Guarantee. We’re on time or your ride is free!

Safe and Efficient Route

There is rideshare and then there is good rideshare. It’s easy to say that you provide rideshare service. But without the state-of-the-art rideshare software, which Prime Time has developed over the years, rideshare can become a nightmare experience.

Professional Drivers

All of PRIME TIME SHUTTLE’S drivers are caring professionals that understand that your comfort and safety is their number one priority.

Immaculate Van

It’s this attention to detail that sets us apart from the other companies who often place cutting corners ahead of your comfort. Check out our services and get the best riding experience!

Rideshare is the Smart Choice

Rideshare is the most economical way to travel to and from any designation is.

It’s service matches you with others going the same way, you travel at a reduced cost by sharing the cost of the trip. If you want the most affordable ride and sharing a ride with others is not an issue then rideshare is the way to go. By having more people using one vehicle, ridesharing reduces each person’s travel costs such as fuel costs, tolls, and the stress of driving. Rideshare is also a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way to travel as sharing journeys reduces air pollution, carbon emissions, traffic congestion on the roads, and the need for parking spaces. Authorities often encourage carpooling, especially during periods of high pollution or high fuel prices. Rideshare is designed to manage urban trips in real time, using the travelers’ smartphones. They make possible to occupy the vehicle’s empty seats on the fly, collecting and delivering passengers along its entire route (and not only at common points of origin and destination). Most of the time there’s an app available for ridesharing. You can get some tips here for ridesharing: Things to Remember For Rideshare Here are some of the many advantages of Rideshare:
  • Less stress commuting to and from work
  • More savings due to sharing commuting costs
  • No need for parking
  • Increases free time for riders
  • Reduces pollution due to auto emissions
There are many pros but there might be cons as well but at the end of the day it’s how you position things and it depends on your needs. This might not be the best choice for you but this is indeed a smart choice. We also have to make sure that we are booking with a reliable company. Do you want to book a rideshare? Why Take an Airport Shuttle?

Even how many times you try to plan out everything, taking the plane sometimes can cause you a lot of stress. There are a lot of possibilities that you will encounter. Travelling to the airport can give you a hectic time involving tight schedules and the typical stressors that come with airline travel. You may experience a delay in your travel plans, making things more complicated. One of the ways you can reduce some of this stress is using the airport shuttle services. Some would find it expensive but actually this would be a lifesaver slash problem solver. Whether traveling for work or for pleasure, there are some good reasons why travelers should consider an airport shuttle

Hassle Free and Always On Time

Going to the airport is really a challenge, with all the things that can cause delay. Experienced airport shuttle drivers know how important it is to get on time at the airport to give you enough ample of time to check in without running towards the check-in booth. They will take care of all the possible hindrances and will always find a way to get rid of them so you can just relax and enjoy your ride going to the airport.

No Need to Deal with The Airport Traffic

Airport shuttle drivers are really experienced when it comes to the airport traffic. They know the best routes and the best way to get there or to go home from the airport. Taking people to the airport and to their homes have been their daily routine. They are likely to be updated too when it comes to detours and road constructions. You can definitely trust them when it comes to the routes. If you are not really familiar driving to and from the airport, this will cause you too much headache that you might even miss your flight.

Most of the people think that taking the airport shuttle can cost you a lot but when you weigh the time, fuel and parking cost. Many travelers are forced to leave their cars parking at the airport or at any park and fly locations and it will definitely cost you more! This is the most economical way of going to the airport. But why not take a cab? Nah! Airport shuttles are cleaner than the cabs and they really specialized in going to and from the airport.

Better Travel Experience for Families

When people travel in groups like a family, it can be a lot of headaches organizing things. Especially when you have little ones. In our other article, Tips on Travelling with Kids, we have mentioned that you have to book your rides early when traveling with kids. In this way, you get to organize everything. Also, this is the most affordable way of traveling as a group. We have mentioned just some of the many advantages of taking the airport shuttle but there are a lot of reasons why to take the airport shuttle. Whether going on vacation, traveling with family, traveling alone or going away for the holidays, airport shuttle plays a big role in your travel experience. Need an airport shuttle? Tips on Travelling with Kids

Travelling with kids need not to be stressful though it might involve alot of planning and forecasting but it could be easier with some guides that we will provide. Travelling with them can create a lot of precious memories and great experiences in their childhood. This can be your best experience in life too! One secret to a better and smooth trip is to really look at the kids’ needs when travelling. You have to find the right time for everything. Balance and organize their activities and don’t forget the time to rest. When they start to get tired or when they got nothing to do, they tend to be cranky and too curious with things that will lead them to do stuff that are unplanned and would end up a mess. Travelling solo, travelling with a partner and travelling with co travellers are somehow different when travelling with kids. It’s more of a mix of everything. There are things that are effective and applicable when travelling alone and travelling with your partner that can be applied when travelling with kids. There are alot of tips on travelling with kids, actually and endless list but we have compiled some of the useful tips that you can use.

1. Take it slow and take time

You might be used to rushing off the airplane and through the airport, making use of all those secret shortcuts, but those days are over. Sit back, let everyone rush around you, and just go with the flow. You’re not in charge anymore – enjoy it.

2. Bring new toys and new books

Something that they have never seen before will hold the attention far more than something that has been played with dozens of times already. The key to this, is to not bring them out to soon. We wait until the meltdown begins and then bring out the big guns. If you bring out the secret weapon too soon, then you have no recourse.

3. Be Flexible when traveling with kids

Avoiding holiday periods when traveling with kids and traveling off-season can yield big savings on flights and accommodation. Even if your kids are in school, consider traveling just outside of major school holiday periods. Give yourself the best chance to capture a cheap flight. Leaving a few days or even weeks before or after your ideal date could mean the difference of hundreds of dollars.

4. Bring one carry on, and only one carry on.

You no longer need a book to read, you no longer need your own snacks. You can no longer use your carry on in place of checking luggage. Once you have filled a bag with the essentials for a long flight, you won’t have the strength to carry anything else, and you will appreciate only having one bag to keep track of in a busy airport.

5. One parent in charge.

Don’t share the burden of any one duty while traveling. Packing for example. One person packs and knows where everything is. Two people pack and no one really knows where anything is. Same with hotels. One person plans them, arranges them, and books them. Do you have that confirmation email or do I? Na-Uh!

6. Book your Rides Early

Having kids can cause you alot of time. Make sure you book your ride early. You can book a private car just for your family instead of a rideshare and look for the most affordable one.  Book early especially watch out for promos and discounts.

Airport Guide For Travellers

Are you planning a trip? Does that involve riding an airplane? They say, you just need to buckle up and the plane goes up up in the wind! Definitely NOT! It’s not that easy. There are alot of rules to follow and there are alot of processes but rest assured when you follow the DO’s and DON’Ts then everything would be smooth. There are Nth number of rules to be followed and we have chosen some of the DO’s and DON’Ts in the airport.

1. Do not pack sharp objects such as knives, scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles in your hand luggage.

Of course they are not allowed for safety purposes so avoid bringing them or you gotta donate them to the airport or worse, they’ll be suspicious and you’ll be up for interrogation. Well, that you don’t want since it will cause all your delays.

2. Do not make comments about carrying weapons or explosives as this may result into an objection to board the aircraft and prosecution.

This is a serious issue and you don’t want to be sued for this or worse, suspect you as a terrorist! This is a BIG NO! This will cause too much panick and delays.

3. Do not overpack your bag(s)

Stop bringing your whole closet. Pack wisely and lightly! Over baggage costs more money than the original allowed baggage. You won’t enjoy carrying alot of baggage. Refer here for some tips in travelling light: Hacks on Travelling Light

4. Make sure you have the correct boarding passes and travel documents to be presented if requested at the security check points and at boarding gates

This is very IMPORTANT! One missing document could cost you your whole travel itinerary. Bring all the necessary documents. Make sure you have the right boarding pass and double check your names on your plane ticket and passport or any valid IDs. Make sure they all match!

5. Inform the Security Officers of your medical conditions, such as a pacemaker that might be affected by the screening process.

Better to let them know before doing something else that might cause any delay or worse, harm on your health. If possible, bring necessary documents that will support your medical condition. Pregnant women, be cautious with these X-ray scanners and secure a travel permit for your doctor.

6. It is best to check-in earlier and have all the necessary travel documents ready prior to Check In

Oh yes! Better be early than late. Arriving on the dot is considered late too. Make sure especially for international passengers to be at the airport 3-4 hours early than your check in. To avoid being late, take the most reliable airport shuttle. Instead of bringing your car and taking some time to park or drive. Book your trip in advance!
